Bleach: Episode 127

Impressions:
Starting with this episode which only covers two manga chapters, Bleach may have gotten to a short filler break. Looking at the future episode titles, I really don’t recognise them as having anything to do with the manga, unless they are just really obscure. The next episode preview confirms that episode 128 at least will be a filler. I noticed a bad quality drop this episode, not to mention an unusually low file quality from DB. I picked up a lot of lazy animation, and movement just wasn’t fluid enough. Being focused on Inoue, it was a shame to see some badly drawn key frames with her face in it as well…

Some of the events were mixed up a bit, but the overall story doesn’t change. The mod souls even got a bit more than a few lines, which assisted in pacing the episode so that it only covers 2 chapters (227 and 228). Going into fillers would be such a shame since we haven’t even gotten up to the good part of this arc yet. |

The next lot of episodes would have been very exciting indeed, though if they do turn out to be fillers, that would be pretty disappointing. However, in the long run, having fillers now would probably be beneficial. That is to say, Bleach won’t finish and resume as a second season. |

It must be pretty strange seeing Urahara suddenly change his attitude like that. He seems oddly cold in this episode with the way he gives it to Inoue, and he really doesn’t seem like the type of guy to do something like that. It’s no wonder Rukia and Chad felt agitated towards Urahara (I was too when I read the manga). |

However, being the wise man for many episodes now, Urahara will still prove right. The last scene with Aizen watching some footage of Inoue using her abilities suggest that he has developed a keen interest in her, which could indeed turn out for the worse. In any case, I’m looking forward to the next episode. |

Uwah, im fallin beind in bleach. i dun even remember the manga anymore lol. only recent ones haha… -.-” but YOSHA! ITS JUNE 1!!! NET RENEW!! Gonna dl this as SOOOON as my exams are over -already happy- can’t wait =]
i dun really care if the quality is “low” i just care about being ABLE to watch it ^-^ and that dude with pink mustache makes me laugh whenever i see him XD
fillers!…no, why must they torture me so. i was just really getting into this again.
God I can’t wait for the next episode. My favorite character has her own episode!!!!

Leon: you mean rangiku? from my experience, fillers are hardl ever good, so even if it has your favourite character, you might be disappointed.

Whoa, how come Yami is shown to be Arrancar number 10!!! >:o
Didn’t he suck realy bad in his first appearance and got trashed!? Did he promote to number 10 recently or he IS number 10 all the while!? >:o
I wasn’t too impressed with how Orihime or Rukia were animated for that important scene.
In a way that was Rukia and Orihime gaining “Heart” with each other (manga readers will know what I’m rattling on about). So it was a pretty important moment because the two have always been assumed to be at odds for Ichigo’s affection, and this quasi-lesbian moment kind of demanded more attention.
I can’t really complain about the anime though, seems the manga neglecting Rukia-plot development for the moment. I am still left wanting on what the hell happened to her.
Kev: yeah he was always 10, but dont think yami who’s 10 is anything like another espada, for example grimmjaw, who is 6. the power is just outrageously different. and now think about the diff. between grimmjaw, and say, espada 1.

Maybe number 10 can be trashed by the normal Shinigami version of Ichigo in Bankai. I’m not quite sure cuz Ulquiorra seems to be much superior than Yami. Perhaps Ulquiorra is 7-9?
Kev, we saw ulquiorra stand up to urahara quite easily. if that doesnt give u an idea of his power…

Just to let you know Yami isnt a arrancar he is a Espada. He is the Weakest of all the Espada but one none the less. Also dont forget Ichigo is strong in the first place plus look how else was there helping him. I dont speack of Orhime and Chad LOL
