Bleach: Episode 125

Anyone remember my rant on how the soul society arc and this arc (hueco mundo) are basically copies of each other? Well, with this episode, we now know that there is a third universe, the one where the ‘King’ lives. What does this mean? It means there will most likely be a third major arc that is a duplicate of these two arcs so far, but with different characters. xD I don’t think that’s such a good thing. There will definitely be more filler arcs, perhaps when the hueco mundo arc finishes, or before then. At least I know I always have to manga to read if the anime strays off to another low-budget filler arc with a shit storyline.
Anyway, apart from the King’s Key and such, we get another nice piece of information. It seems that everyone, or most of the Vaizards, all went through the same process as Ichigo does to overcome their inner hollow. It makes me think about who the original Vaizard is, the one who would have started the trend. The fact that Ichigo has taken the longest also goes to show how powerful and equal his hollow side compared to himself. It makes me excited when I think about the possibility of him being a perfect hybrid of Shinigami and Hollow. Did I mention how high the quality this episode is as well?
An interesting question that would probably arise when you watch this episode is, how strong is this King and his bodyguards? It’s funny how Bleach introduces the same ideas repeatedly, yet it is still good. We have the Captains for Soul Society, Espada for Hueco Mundo, and now possibly these bodyguards in the ‘King’s’ world as well. But luckily, Bleach has a pretty nicely set power level average, where all the powerful guys are around the same strength. This is unlike a certain other popular shounen where things get way out of hand (DBZ), where universes are being destroyed and stuff like that.

Interesting question. Who of the Vaizards was the first? I also found interesting Grimmjaws’s reaction to Ichigo’s transformation. The Vaizard seem well informed about everything going on, why is it that Grimmjaw didn’t expect the events to come, was he merely not informed or is it that the Arrancar don’t know squat about the Vaizard?

I’d say the arrancar dont know anything about the Vaizards
I guess the average arrancar knows as much as a hollow does, only they have their masks removed…
It would be bad if there was another 50+ episode filler arc, but the information about the king’s key(and it not being in the manga) doesn’t necceraliy lead to a new filler arc. maybe its just something kubo tite came up later in the manga, and now he decided to reveal it’s existence earlier in the anime, maybe the info about the key will just be revealed later in the manga.
The King doesn’t have any combat ability, he only has special abilities to perform his “kingly” duties. That’s why there is a Royal Guard.
Arenu, Im not saying that the King’s arc is a filler arc. The anime IS staying true to the manga, and the manga does reveal the info about the key and king at this time. What I’m saying is, seeing as how the anime will catch up to the manga before too long, when the manga goes into a third arc, the anime will have fillers.

Do you really need to ask who was the one that though the Vaizards how to supress and use the hollow powers?
Who was the one that was researching for a overcome to shinigami limit and use the hollow powers to rise one’s power?
It’s obviously that was Urahara that found the way and thaugth some of the actual Vaizards, how else would he know about em

Kristen, it is quite foolish to assume things like that. Although something might seem really obvious, if it hasn’t been stated in the anime or manga, or from any other such source (like the mangaka himself), it means it has not been confirmed. And if Urahara knew how to suppress a hollow, he sure was being up himself for not even attempting to help Ichigo.
Hmm I think Ichigo’s dad is the king because he is secretive and only urahara and maybe the captain commander knows him abd he is really strong.

So…anyone know the music that plays when Ichigo kicks ass? It was the same music played when the captains and vice captains released their limites in episode…what was it…22? 21?
