Bleach: Episode 123

Impressions:

I said last time that judging by the title of this episode, it seems that the anime will once again stretch a single chapter into a whole episode. I need to correct that. I meant episode 124, which is the next episode. Hopefully the fight between Shirosaki and Ichigo will be awesome. I’ve been anticipating since the scenes shown in the 5th OP with YUI’s Rolling star. As opposed to what should be a nice action episode next time, this episode utilises the humour of Ichigo getting his ass handed to him by Hiyori. His momentary transformation into a hollow is pretty intense, though I think I like Hiyori’s teary face at the end of that scene the best xD.

I realised this in the manga too, but I really don’t like Ichigo’s attitude at this point in time. It’s understandable that after failing to protect his nakama numerous times, he would become agitated and do all he can to obtain the strength to improve. However, the way he speaks of using the Vaizards and trying to order them around is not very pleasing. It would be nice if he gets pounded a little in a serious manner to set his mind straight. I really wonder how much of a match Shinji would be to Ichigo when they are both hollows…and seeing how Shinji is probably the strongest Vaizard, I would like to see him in a proper fight with someone else (whose strong) soon.

    sXEzx, is there some point in you coming to this blog and commenting about how much anime you watch and how fast you get to it? I actually have a life and don’t have as much time as you. If u feel superior by expressing these things about yourself, go ahead, but not here mate. Also, that comment you made on the Bleach 120 post, looks like youre a little behind since that post was posted a month ago.

    Question, why did Shinji mention about Hougyoku suddenly? Do Vaizards need Hougyoku to be born?

    Oo and… Ichigo turning Vaizard… looks and sounds evil.. :P Bleach in my opinion is getting more exciting! Woot!

    Sorry for double posting. Since Ichigo’s hollow use colours that are opposite, I wonder will the hollow’s Getsuga Tenshou be white? O_o lol

    Btw, I think it will be very exciting to see 2 same Bankais against each other.

    Kev, Im not sure about the hougyoku, but the black getsuga tenshou was originally ichigo’s hollow’s attack. the white getsuga tenshou is ichigo’s originally. i dont know how it will appear in this upcoming fight though. as for the new OP, no there is no full song for download at the moment.

    Episode 121 oso dont have the tag…

    I too am also hoping that the next episode battle sequence is high quality. I have to say I was kind of disappointed with this episode quality wise, the animations in many spots looked kind of funny and not in a good way. Maybe they saving up some money for the next episode…who knows…!

    I just got caught up in bleach an d finished watching episode 123, and omg they ended this episode badly xD i don’t want to wait for the next episode….lol Hiyori is adorable :P it’s funny cause i have the attitude of ichigo, exept i have a less of a problem with showing emotion…lol well is anxiously waiting for the next episode :P
