Kuro: well its your own opinion that it would be boring if its drawn out. i stick to when i say i prefer the anime to be drawn out, as then it will slow down the approaching fillers that will surely come. also, having read the manga, there is no urgency to see the next episode for me..

and thats the thing, i wouldnt call 50-70 episodes of bleach that are drawn out slightl ’sub-par’

You say that you would prefer the anime go at a slower pace…why? Do you want the anime to be a long drawn out melodramatic affair and turn into crap during this new arc?

I only ask this because IMO, the reason the first arc was good is because of the quick pacing. Nothing felt long and drawn out and the pace of the anime seemed quick enough to not get into boring melodrama like a lot of series(i’m looking at you Naruto) get. I’d rather go into another filler arc than see Bleach turn into another crappy anime all for the sake of “not catching up to the manga”. Yes, that means waiting around for more Bleach goodness again but wouldn’t you prefer that Bleach be the best anime it can be and wait a little bit longer to ensure it’s perfect rather than try to squeeze water out of a rock by prolonging scenes that shouldn’t be made longer?

Bleach will eventually catch up to the manga, that’s a fact of life. I’d rather have 40 really good episodes than 50-70 sub-par episodes. That’s just my opinion.

acegunner: yeah i got that feeling too, though ulquirro is more composed and reasonable than vegeta…

AJ: i know how you feel, and I’m sure thousands of fans are thinking the same way!

boro ZZZ: yeah, if you compare the anime and manga versions, you’ll see the printed one is a lot more gruesome. I wonder why they censored it that much though…

No comments about Chad’s disproportionate body in the scene where he and Orihime were running? I thought it looked weird that his body looked smaller (mainly the torso and arms) and made him look like he was 9 yrs old or something…

BLEACH is fantastic once again! I’m so excited about the next episode. Waiting a week will suck but as long as BLEACH is back to its good manga material, I’m happy. Wetting myself (not really) with excitement!
