Impressions:

The real name of this series is “Koi Suru Tenshi Angelique ~ Kokoro no Mezameru Toki”, but it’s too long so I’ll just call it “Angelique”. Hmm, better than I thought. The character design kinda puts me off though – all the guys are so androgynous! Some of them I thought were female until I heard them speak… ugh. Anyway, I still don’t understand why the universe needs to be saved by an Etoile. The dialogue is far too complicated for me to understand. I don’t think a sub has come out yet. The girl’s been drawn pretty good, but seriously, the boy’s cap and geeky glasses made me think she was a guy pretending to be a girl! But then of course, the summaries of the series I’ve read all talk about the Etoile (female) as the main character, so I guess I shouldn’t have made that assumption in the first place. Seeing as it’s meant to be a shoujo (I think), does this mean that the men in the show are meant to be attractive? Or is it just the reverse-harem with the female lead that’s meant to attract female viewers? Overall, I thought it was an average first episode (considering it’s a shoujo, that’s above average!) I don’t really plan on watching this series this month as I’m trying to marathon Eureka 7 and Tsubasa Chronicles…

EDIT: I’ll keep watching but I won’t be blogging this series…

    I’m totally confused. Does anyone have the chronological summary of this series? I’m at a loss at which show comes first and which queen is which. They all are called Angelique and they are surrounded by almost the same set of guys although new one’s keep popping out of nowhere!!!

    I’ve heard that no one is working on subbing this serires yet but I really hope that’s not true. Does anyone know anything about a subbed version?

    I have watched this anime and I must say this is an excellent piece. Although it is a shoujo anime but this is definitely above average. The male characters are very well drawn and the storyline is very, very, interesting.
    *drools at all the bishies.*
    My favourite character is Lumiale(the guy with the harp), Clavis(the guy with indigo cloak and beautiful long hair), Olivie(the most beautiful bishounen Lord of Dreams and Desire), and Randy(he’s the most sensible one there yes more sensible tha Julious himself). Zephel is too rebellious for me but i now girls like him the most. I still like Olivie the best. I have yet to find the official website for this anime. This anime seems to be quite unknown here in Asia( not including Japan). If anyone here knows any website that has complete information on both its seasons and OVA’s…please email me at TooGothic666@hotmail.com or Friendster(My friendster account name is Ash Crimson).

    Hmm.. As far as I know.. The first season of this anime is entitled ‘Angelique’ itself. It’s an OVA series composed of 3 episodes. Angelique Limoges is the girl with blonde hair and green eyes. She is a queen candidate along with Rosalia -I forgot her last name-. Well, that’s all about the first season. The second season is ‘Koi Suru Tenshi Angelique: Kokoro no Mezameru Toki’. Well, this is about a girl named Ange being the Legendary Etoile who can save the dying Divine BEAST Galaxy. And so yeah, adventure starts and romance blooms. Angelique Limoges is now the queen of the Divine BIRD Galaxy. In between this two seasons, there is another OVA which is composed of 2 episodes. It’s entitled ‘Angelique: Shiroi Tsubasa no Memoir’. This OVA is all about Angelique Collet. The brown haired girl who is the newly chosen queen for the Divine BEAST Galaxy and her story with Arios who will be present in ‘Kokoro no Mezameru Toki’.     Well, next season after ‘Kokoro no Mezameru Toki’ is entitled ‘Koi Suru Tenshi Angelique: Kagayaki no Ashita’. This season is still about Ange but with a new mission. To gather all guardians from different worlds to save Angelique Collet from captivity. I still don’t know the whole story yet so I still can’t say if Ange would be the next queen of the Divine BEAST Galaxy. The anime is yet to be subbed. I hope my information helped.
